Report: Supporting digitalisation of the construction sector and SMEs

The EU’s construction industry is not digitising at the same speed as major construction markets.

For example, the EU construction market ranks 5th in the use of building information modelling (BIM). Some challenges are not sector-specific, such as data security and preparedness for cyber-attacks. Yet, they are common to all segments of the economy.

This study proposes 10 actions to improve digitalisation in the construction sector.
